I am Nils Ingemar Sjöström from Gothenburg, Sweden. I am 59 years old.
My latest analogue photo non-stop documentary lasted from 16 August 2003 until 20 May 2005. I visited 11 countries then.
I took about 900 rolls.
I usually shoot slides, Kodak Ectachrome Elite Extra Color, always 100 Asa. I changed to digital photography fall 2007 and now have, among others, Nikon D3s and a D3x.
My first trip to Asia was in 1988, together with the Swedish adventurer Göran Kropp to Pamir. Since then I have visited Asia, 13 times. All together I spent about 10 years in Asia.
My subject is people but I try as hard as I can to shoot Landscape and Wildlife (which I find very difficult)
I have plans to do an even longer photo journey to Asia.
I am out travelling right now and I left Sweden 27 of oct. 2007.
I came home to Sweden summer 2010, change my drivers licence, visited my brother and then went out again, hitch-hiked in Japan, travelled in The Philippines, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and came home in july 2011 together with my Philippine wife whom I marry april 2008. Current Residence: Sweden
